Surf & Sea
We’ve spent our lives in the sea. Here on the North Coast of Cornwall not only do we have an amazing coastline but we also have world class surf. From Hartland Point down to the Camel Estuary we have everything from rugged towering cliffs, long sandy beaches and quiet secluded coves. The perfect coastline for all kinds of Kayaking, Surfing and Coasteering. Mix these adrenaline activities with an amazing array of natural flora and fauna and you’re guaranteed to have an incredible experience.
Land
Our Beautiful unspoilt countryside goes right up to the edge of our coastline. Bude’s location at the very top of Cornwall has always made it a little more secluded than the rest of the county and the benefits that this has given us include our wonderful mix of rural and rugged coastal scenery. Not many trees but amazing views and wonderful sunsets. Bude itself sits back just enough from the beaches to create wide open grassy spaces right up to the cliffs even in the town itself. With no other towns on the coast for 20 miles north and south of Bude there are miles and miles of rural landscape to explore.
Rock
The coastline north and south of Bude is made for adventure. With towering rock faces, slabs and fins of rock thrusting right out of the ocean together with deep ocean caves and secluded bays, it's a landscape made to explore. Rock climbing has a real tradition on this coast, referred to as the Culm Coast for its bands of black shale and brown sandstone. There are climbs for all abilities together with Coasteering and Abseiling sites that make the most of our incredible environment.
